On the last leg of our Jewish Camping Initiative road trip, we journeyed back up to Bridgton, Maine to visit Camp Micah. Celebrating it's 13th summer, we had the opportunity to tour and learn about camp from many members of the Micah team. It was great to see many of our campers in action on the sports fields and in the dining hall, and we even got to spend a little time with Ben Harris (our JELY Advisor) who is on staff at camp this summer. We also were fortunate to have the opportunity to sit with Jodi Sokoloff (Assistant Director) and Mark Lipof (Director/Co-Owner) to discuss how Jewish living, identity building, culture and programming plays out at camp. Many thanks to Jodi, Mark and the Camp Micah community for letting us play at camp for the afternoon!
